problem with SCO Vision ODBC

I am working with SCO Vision ODBC (version 4.16.900.00). I try to
retrieve information from a data base with SCO Vision ODBC called from
a web service that runs at IIS.
I have this error:
'ERROR [IM003] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error
1114 (SCO Vision ODBC).'
Could you tell me how can I fix this error?, do I need a most recent
version of SCO Vision ODBC? if a need a new version, how can I get it?.
I'm using winXP profesional, IIS V5.1.
Great thanks for your attention.

Searching Google, this seems to be a not uncommon error for this particular
driver. Most of the recommendations I found involve updating to a new
version. The latest version, I believe, is 4.18.

interesting read from eweek about the dying hope surrounding .net http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,,1184728,00.asp The end of last month marked the third anniversary of Microsoft's launch of its .Net strategy, which executives such as Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates said at the time was a "bet-the-company thing." But three years later, reactions are mixed as to whether that strategy, along with the vision that...

OK, I had a problem that I've now fixed but I can't really understand what was causing it in the first place. I have an intranet site that uses basic authentication to allow users to view and update information from an Oracle DB (ver 8.1.6 -- ancient, I know). Anyway, the site worked fine as long as the machine accessing the ASP page was running Win 2k but when an XP machine tried to view the page, the client got an error: Microsoft...

Hey guys, I have an ODBC problem that has me stumped. I wrote a VBA script to run in Microsoft Excel that pulls data out of an application using that application's ODBC driver and puts it into Excel. I am trying to translate the same program over to Microsoft Access and I ran into a problem. Access locks up if the data I am querying for is not present in the database. To retrieve data from the database of the application, my Excel...

Hi, Here is a shorter code example since the last message I posted got truncated. So the problem is I created a simple VB.NET 2003 application through Visual Studio that connects to a MySQL database and loads a table into a Dataset, and then displays that table information in a DataGrid on a form for editing. The table fill works fine, the delete function works fine, but when I try to update a row, the application fails with the...

What happened to the Microsoft Vision SDK? I found some references too it on the web but was not able to find more than a mention of it on MSDN. I ran across an old PDF “The Microsoft Vision SDK†versions 1.2 dated May 2000. It describes a library for use with c++ 6.0. Is there any Microsoft vision library available for dotnet? Has Microsoft made any updates since May 2000? Is anyone using another dotnet compliant vision library...

Hi all I have found a problem using MS Sql Server connecting via the odbc module from python-win32. I am liaising with Mark Hammond, and he is trying to help, but he is very busy, and I cannot be certain whether the problem originates with the odbc module, with the ODBC Driver, or with Sql Server itself. If anyone can help me to pinpoint this, I will be very grateful.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
