Hello,
I have a dataset with 2 fields, (String) and (Boolean).
I want to add, FROM the ASPX.VB Code, 2 columns:
1. Column which will display the Text field.
I need this column to recognize HTML tags.
The field might be something like
"<h1>Heading</h1><p>Paragraph</p>

Hello,
I have a GridView in my page which is created in runtime. It works fine.
My page has 2 Asp Buttons:
- The HIDE button makes GridView.Visible = False;
- The SHOW button makes GridView.Visible = True.
I press HIDE and the GridView disappears as expected.
After it I press SHOW and the GridView doesn't show.

Hi all,
I have a gridview displaying a dataset and some buttons. When a certain
cell of this datasetrow is empty, I want a button in that row to be
visible, otherwise no button should be shown in that row.
I'm trying to make this work all day, but it's not going to work.
I tried this in the rowCreated event. I am able to find the right row
and cell in this row (as a datarow), but now the right gridview

I have 10 columns total. 3 of them are invisible. The rest are read-
only BoundFields, 3 of which are editable fields using
TemplateFields. Upon editing, I want to validate what the user enters
against one of those invisible columns. How do I accomplish this?
The code below that I attempted just returns an empty string when I
try to retrieve the invisible column data:
gvParts.Rows(e.RowIndex).Cells(8).Text

I have a GridView control with three columns, all BoundField columns. They
all have a HeaderText and DataField property set, and the third one has a
DataFormatString property as well. When I run my code, the GridView displays
two sets of columns. The first set looks exactly as I would expect. The
second set, which should not be there anyway, uses the DataField as the
header and does not apply the DataFormatString for the third column. What...

I have a Gridview binding to a DataTable source. I'd like to set the
column with of the second column. I cannot do this apparently because
when AutoGenerateColumns=true, they do not appear in the columns
collection.
I modified the RowCreated even to gridview, and I can change
properties on the cells, but not width. (setting tooltip, background
color, etc, all work but changing width has no effect). Here's
sample code I am using:

Hi
I've just moved from asp.net 1.1 to 2.0 so am new to gridviews and have a
problem.
I've got a gridview on a form in a web layer project. It has an
objectdatasource object which calls a method in a class in a seperate data
layer project. Therefore the columns are autogenerated. The problem I've got
is that the data that fills the gridview has an "id" column which I don't
want to display but I do want to use programmatically. I've...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
