Hello all. I am involved in a project where we have a desire to
improve our software testing tools, and I'm in charge of looking for
solutions regarding the logging of our software (originating from
embedded devices). Currently, we are using a heavyweight, proprietary
log tool developed by another part of the company. This tool contains
all "standard" logging functionality, but we also need to insert
"debug" log points in the software of...

I'm getting weird errors during transformations --
"System.Net.WebException. The remote server returned an error: (500)
Internal Server Error."
I'm on the 1.0 Framework. I've looked through the stack trace and it seems
to be happending at a call to .Transform as follows (see stack trace below):
oXslTransform.Transform(myXPathDocument,plist,stWrite);
These XML documents are 3rd party and include a doctype that refers to a dtd

I have a problem on communication between ASP.NET and
Java code. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Our core processing code and database and database server
reside in a remote machine whose platform is Linux. The
core processing code is written with Java.
Now I'm trying to implement scripting code to communicate
with the back-end database dynamatically.

I'm having a problem getting this to work in ASP.NET 2.0. I'm trying to
prevent the validation of a DTD in the incoming XML.
I have this XML that I receive via xml web service from an external source.
In other words, I cannot modify anything about it prior to receiving it.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE UserResponse SYSTEM "UserResponse.dtd">

For those interested, I've just posted a new article that I wrote that describes how to extend the power of your XSL transforms by communicating with a database to output live information in the rendered HTML document.

Hi All:
I am looking for general directions on "the right way" to do something,
which is very critical to my application.
I want to communicate with a SQL server database on a Windows Server (in the
future it could be a Linux MYSQL server, but I don't know for sure). My
application is a desktop application and at various times it may need to
communicate with the server to select, update records etc.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
