Is there a way to avoid the default action of TreeNode expansion/contraction
caused by double click? I can add an event handler to pop up my properties
dialog on double click, but it has the unintended side-effect of toggling
the expansion of that subtree.
Thanks in advance,
Brian

Hi,
I am learning C# at the moment. I am trying to develop a simple program that
will get data from a MS Access database into a dataSet. The result of
dataSet should be something like:
Year Semester Code Task
---------------------------------------------------
"2003" "One" "CSE9020" "Deliverable Item 1"
"2003" "One" "CSE9020" "Deliverable Item 2"

I am using a TreeView to perform navigation and have a few nodes that need
to generate a popup menu. For this, I use the SelectedNodeChanged event and
then add the relevant "window.open" script to the page using the
ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript method.
This seems to work fine, but if the user clicks on the same node twice, the
event doesn't fire a second time. I assume this is by design as the Node
Selection hasn't changed, but...

I have a treeview sourced from a SiteMap. I want to use 2 different CSS
styles for the root level nodes. The topmost root node should not have a top
border, all the other root nodes should have a top border.
Is it possible to have more than 1 style at the same level (parent node)
when using a SiteMap?
I want it to appear something like this and I can only find a way to either
have the border on all root nodes or none at all. In...

Hi guys
I was using the Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls extra namespace in my
application to provide me with a TreeView control. I was using specifically
..GetNodeFromIndex(), SelectedNodeIndex and NodeData. All 3 of which are now
giving errors is the new Asp.net TreeView.
I'm found the Value property which replaces NodeData, but what about
GetNodeFromIndex and SelectedNodeIndex. Are they just... gone!? :(

Hi guys
How do I get the new TreeView (asp2.0) to load something in an Iframe? I've
setup a NaviagateUrl and set the Target property to the name of the Iframe,
but it still tries to load a new window?!
Cheers

I can't beleive that Microsoft would create the whole Sitemap XML
datasource process but not have a TARGET tag. What am I missing? The
only place I saw the target tag was at the treeview level. Please tell
me that something this basic is at the siteMapNode level and not the
Treeview level?
Does anyone have a work around for this Design Flaw?

Hi,
I need to hide a series of siteMapNodes to certain roles. That means roles
have access to the siteMapNode, but the node doesn't appear on the
navigation menu. I'll use Response.Redirect to jump to hidden pages.
How can I do that? I tried securityTrimmingEnabled="true" in my web.config.
But it doesn't help because the pages are accessible to the roles. I just
want to hide the pages from the main menu when certain roles login

I would like to create a tab menu navigation where all pages under a
directory are considered under a specific tab. So when under any page
in a directory its tab is considered selected. I have created a tab
menu using asp:menu, used the sitemapnodes, and created a tab
navigation that where when on the specified page (SiteMapNode) the tab
is selected. I did using the following tutorial

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
