We secured an Access MDB for a client, using the Access 2000 (or above -
still trying to find that out) security wizard. I trust the developer who
did this, and the screendumps of the process don't give any indication he
missed a step, or got an error, etc.
On several machines in our office, if you try to open the database without

Hi everybody,
My problem seems a bit clichè but I could not work around.
Well I read lots of MSDN papers and discussions, but my problem is a bit
different from them. When I tried to run the project in debug mode (by
hitting F5) it gives an error message
"Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the web
server.

function:
double node::get_equity(Parameter * const params_ptr, int x, int y,
const int rights)
This recursive function is behaving oddly. I made it print statements
into a debug file to try and capture the anomalous behaviour, and I did
capture something that to me...

Hello,
I have an in house application that we developed, but everyone who
needs to use the program are not allowed to be local admins on their
PCs. I was wondering if there was a way to code the application to
not require admin rights (for modifying/creating excel and text files
as well as modifying the registry)?
And I was wondering if...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
