I am posting this for the lack of a better newsgroup, and for the
knowledge of people here, and because its only partially OT.
We have a bunch of users with their computers at work. There are
reports that the users need, which could be in html, php, asp, jsp,
whatever.
Now I am trying to eliminate the login window entirely. In an html
request, the client (firefox, ie, etc) sends the clients hostname, IP,
a bunch of other stuff, but...

Hi, I am getting a strange error. Last night when I left work this was
working perfectly. This morning when I try to run this code in VS2005, it
comes up with an error saying "The name 'UserName' does not exist in the
current context". I don't know what to do about it. The field is there. It
worked yesterday. Any ideas?

Here is my problem. Brand new SQL Server 2005 Installation
1. Create a database "Test"
2. Create a database user "Domain\user" and set user mapping to "Test"
with datareader, datawriter permissions
3. Look at Test ->Properties->Permissions
activate "Domain\user" and click effective permissions

I use Session to save and pass values between pages, (please see
the following). It works fine on my computer, but on the server, I launch the
main page, wait for 20 minutes, and click a button to launch User.aspx, it
seems that it cannot see the current value of Session. There's no
problem to launch User.aspx from the main page within 20 minutes. Please
help. Thanks.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
