Data fields not rendering in Visual Web Developer

Hi,
I have a web page with some data fields contained in the panel and a
grid view below it. The data fields are not placed in the position in
which they are designed when I run the appln. After a particular width,
the data fields is moved to the next line when it is rendered. The
screen looks hapazard. Can anyone help me to fix this problem?

Thanks
ASMJ

Dear all Following the oft-repeated advice here and ciwas I have made my site nearly 4.01 strict (working on it). There are some items on which I would appreciate your advice: 1. Hidden fields http://www.zoo.co.uk/~mmenterprises/contact.htm I am using FormMail from Matt's Script Archive. The W3C validator objected to the hidden fields unless I put, say, P round them. That gave

Hello all... I'm coming from a Borland Delphi background. Delphi has a specific component called a Data Module. In the designer the Data Module behaves like a windows form. A developer can drop non-visual (controls) on the data module surface and wire them up and create procedures, functions, event procedures. In the source file (code behind file) the Data Module is a class, and the dropped components are public properties. The...

This is kind of a tough question, but, I'm working on a program now and using sql data adapters with sql server to generate data tables. I'm updating the tables and then using the dataadapter.update method to send the table back. The problem is, the tables have about 30 fields and I'm only changing 2 (it's a holding file). Can I make an update statement that will only send back

I'm using SQLDataSource, which generates some kind of dataset, and then I attach that datasource to various data display controls such as DataList and repeater which loop through to the end of the data that was retrieved by the query. At times I may want the display control only to render some items in the set of data returned by SqlDataSource. There would be several scenarios: * render the second data item or third item in to the end...

So, what is the relationship between Visual Studio and Visual Web Developer. I find a lot of documentation on MSDN that presents Visual Web Developer as it's own stand-alone product (which I'd expect of the Express editions), but apparently there are NON Express versions of Visual Web Developer. Is Visual Web Developer only built-in to Visual Studio 2008 Professional? I see "Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008" listed as an installed...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
