I am trying to merge two xml files based on common date/time and then
write out a tab-delimited xml file with the header record from one of
the input files concatenated in front of the merged detail records in
the output file. The version I have is close to what I need except it
concatenates two sets of header records in front of each merged detail
record and the first two lines in the file and the last line is blank.

My database is set up so people can input parts orders. Sometimes they
order the same parts on a monthly basis. I want to be able to duplicate
past parts orders and have it pasted in with a new primary key.
My first attempt seemed to work(minus a few Microsoft glitches). I used
a "duplicate" command button at first. This made a copy of the record
but failed to bump up the primary key by 1 number(so it seemed).

Normally when I use the Adaptor update function and it work fine but
sometimes I get a "duplicate entry" error after the merge. I believe the
problem is because the primary key is modified and the merge function is
unable compensate for this event. I see three possible solutions to this
problem. One being not to let them update the key which is not an option.
Two being to determine if the key has changed and refilling the entire
dataset...

I have a dataset with about 20-50 records on it. Some of has the same value

I know some poeple will tell me to use GROUP BY and DISTINCE to filter out

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
