Hello,
I have a web.sitemap file that is used as the data for a treeview
control. This shows the site structure very well, but I would like to
add the description (in the siteMapNode element in the web.sitemap file)
as plain text after the normal node text.
Can I do this? I know I can catch the OnTreeNodeDataBound event and add
to the node's Text property, but that adds to the link, whereas I want
the description to be plain text....

I have a treeview sourced from a SiteMap. I want to use 2 different CSS
styles for the root level nodes. The topmost root node should not have a top
border, all the other root nodes should have a top border.
Is it possible to have more than 1 style at the same level (parent node)
when using a SiteMap?
I want it to appear something like this and I can only find a way to either

How do I get the new TreeView (asp2.0) to load something in an Iframe? I've
setup a NaviagateUrl and set the Target property to the name of the Iframe,
but it still tries to load a new window?!

Hi,
I use the selectednodestyle with a white background so the user can see
which item was chosen in the treeview navigation.
The nodes have a navigateURL with a target to another frame.
Navigating works with no postback and the style follow the selected node.
When a new child is added to a node there is a button to refresh the node.
This is done by a postback. After this postback the selected node stays
keeps the selected style.

I am generating a very large tree list in my program and while it's
performance is great once loaded it takes a really long time to load.
I create a root TreeNode "offline" and go through the process of
creating building up the tree from there. Only when I am done do I go
over to the actual TreeView object on my form and add the my root to
the TreeView. This sinlge step when I add my constructed root node to
the form's TreeView control...

Hi,
I would like to have my TreeNode to call window.close(); without posting
back, how can I do that? At the same time, I prefer to have a SelectAction
property that allows my TreeNode to appear as hyperlink with hand-cursor
when hover.
For your information, my TreeView control is on a master page. I have done
some tricks but when clicking the node, it does the post-back and my page
appears empty with nothing on it except the popup...

Is there any way you can expand a parent node on the treeview control
_without a postback_ by clicking on the node text (NOT clicking the expand

I want to format the treeview node to look like a column of buttons that
