What does it mean ?
I have this error when doing a build, some times, randomly. If I close
everything and reopen the project, then it disappears for a while.
I have started two Asp.Net 2.0 applications, both totally different,
both migrating from Asp.Net 1.0, both give this error randomly when
doing the build.
I get the errors say, 1 time in each 20 builds, so I have to close
everything, clean the cache and open again, then it works fine.
But I wonder if somebody knows where this error come from 1 1400
I've seen this too. I tracked it down to Index server running on the
machine. When I shut that off, it went away. Also watch out for virus
scanners getting a hold of the files.
After you reboot, clean out those ASP.NET temporary files... the directory
names like 00fde41c.
ASP.NET will rebuild the folders and files when the page is called next.

After installing a windows service that references a *.dll to a target
machine, my trace file shows
CS0006: Metadata file <my.dll> could not be found
when calling a method on the dll.
Initially I put the *.dll into the c:\Program Files\MyAPP directory.
Then also I added the *.dll to the GAC.

You'll have to excuse me if I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm new to webservices. I'm attempting to compile a C# file with csc /r:dmcorex.dll C:\InetPub\wwwroot\asptest\mtm\OBWebSvc.asmx.cs. dmcorex is in a using statement in the file 'using dmcorex;'. After running this I get the following error:

I'm getting the following error when attempting to link a
managed C++ dll. I can't find any reference to these
errors with google. Can anyone help? I've included the
class definition causing the errors below.
Everything compiles fine and all the types are defined, it
appears that the template type
itga::order_collection::iterator is causing the trouble.

Hi,
Our developer team recently started getting the compilation error, see below, once a while running the asp.net web application from Visual Studio 2003 (in debug mode), and we have to rebuild the solution or deleted the VsWebcache to get rid of this error
I suspect this error is related to that we strong named several assemblies for using queued components in NET EnterpriseServices. In development environment, we did not install those...

I have been ignoring this problem for a few weeks now, but it's becoming
a bit annoying not to mention unproductive. Here it goes:
I compile my project with no errors. Then after I debug/run it, I get
the runtime error noted at the end of this message. If I re-compile
(without any changes) and re-run, then my project will run OK. This
behavior is very consistent. Another words, the only way I can run an
ASP.NET application is if I...

Hi to all,
I have spent 3 days at this error and i have two days to go for a
deadline, and i am about to go off my nut, the reason being: Microsoft
dont seem to be able to provide a solution, I have trawled the web and
the few that have the same error have not being provided a fix. This
error occurs if i make the slightest change in my project. If i
REBUILD my project no error occurs. So i keep having to rebuild my
project - this is not...

We're getting compiler error CS0006, with increasing frequency. It says that a randomly named DLL was not found. This happens at random intervals when you try to run the application. We're using the webserver that comes with VS to run our web app. VS 2005 SP1 didn't fix this, and the only way I know to get around it is to close VS and delete the temporary ASP.NET files. Is there anything easier we can do?

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
