Help installing multiple start kits in VS2005

I installed 3 web starter kits for VS2005.

All of them reside in this dir:
C:\Documents and Settings\Robert \My Documents\Visua l Studio
2005\Templates\ ProjectTemplate s\Visual Web Developer\Visua lBasic

When I create a new website the only template that appears is: Personal Web
Site Starter Kit

How come the other 2 templates don't appear under the "installed templates"?

Thanks!

I'm trying to make what should be a simple DB, but have done got myself confused. I'm trying to keep track of the contents of several kits that use common components. Each component has a unique number and each kit has a unique number. I would like to be able to pull up the kit number them choose the individual components that are included in that kit and keep that record so if any components are changed it would update the kit.

I am having a problem installing the starter kits. I have reinstalled VS 2005, think that might be the problem. I then installed both 'Personal Website" and the "Club Website" starter kits. I still have the same problem. Any web starter kit that is installed under 'My Templates" does not allow you to enter the location directory or use the browse button. Neither the "Personal Website" or the "Club Website" allows you to select the...

Hi, Yes, I'm one of the lonely ones who hasn't upgraded to VS2005.NET. Does anyone know where in MSDN, the code for the Starter-Kits for VS2003.NET? It seems like MSDN is very nicely ignoring VS2003.NET and the old .NET 1.1 framework. Thanks Ahead, Allan

Hi, I have a friend that I am trying to help get started into asp.net development at my company. He was assigned a task to build a data entry / reporting web application and only has about 10 days to do it. The database will contain only 3 main tables to enter data and about 4 or 5 reference tables. The web application has to support user security and basic role security.

Hello, Does anyone know anything about problems with running VS2005 / VS2005B2 side-by-side? When I installed 2008B2, it seemed to break a number of things in 2005. Consider: I have an extensive 2005 C++/CLI project. Is used to build with 0 errors and 0 warnings. On the weekend I installed VS2008B2, I went back to 2005 and tried to rebuild my project. BOOM! 351 WARNINGS! First thing I did was check to make sure I was opening the project in...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
