adding rollover button to .aspx page

what is the syntax for adding a rollover button as an image button? I
have saved the button as a .swf file and put it as the ImageUrl, but
since it isn't an image, do I need to save it as an image in flash
rather than a button?

Cheers,

Mike

If you are using ImageURL for your rollover button, yes, it must be an
image file like jpg or gif.
Here is an example about how to Create a RollOver Button Server
Control.

Flash has its own rollover event. If you want to use .swf file for
your rollover button, you will need to program in flash.

I'm wrestling with CSS variations between Firefox and IE. I'm trying to create rollover buttons in a menu frame. It is working perfectly in Firefox but in IE only the first button is properly highlighted and linked. The second button, has only a partial "hit area" at the top of the image, although if you click the link, you can see the link border is properly place around the image. The rest of the buttons have no rolloever state or link...

Greetings. I am in a very big pickle. I am trying to add page content - as well as a submit button - programatically to a web form that is supposed to submit to DB and then refresh. That is, a user goes to the web page, which draws the current content out of the db and inserts into a "preview" area as well as the form itself. User makes changes, hits submit button. The page *should* refresh, with the changes saved to the db, and...

I have strip-mined, strip-searched, and completely exhausted the Internet (up to the 30th page on Google, with 100 results per page!!), all without finding an answer to my question AS TO WHY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PROGRAMMATICALLY ADD A BUTTON TO A DYNAMICALLY CREATED PAGE. Or, to be more precise, why it is impossible to have an onClick sub respond to that button’s Click event. My main page has only one line:

Hi All, I got a real doozy here. I have read hundreds upon hundreds of forum posts and found numerous others who have replicated this problem, but have yet to find a solution. Through testing I have been able to find the cause of the problem, and will describe it here first textually and then through a code example. The purpose of what I am trying to do is to create a postback-free web application through the use of ASP.net AJAX UpdatePanels...

I wrote the following script. I have a movieclip named countyA_mc. I want the user to mouse over this movie clip, and result in the sending of a variable to the middle tier. I can establish communication when I use a .click event listener on a button component, but when I attempt to convert the script (in the following logical way) I do not establish communication with the aspx page: var hoverColor:Number = 0x9A9A9A; var...

Hello CSS and StyleSheet members, I have decided to move away from Dreamweaver javascript rollover buttons, in favor of a CSS type rollover button. (hope that is ok). I plan to use PHP to include the page with the rollover buttons as a php include in a div for navigation buttons (left side of web page). I have cobbled together some code complements of http://sophie-g.net/jobs/css/e_buttons.htm.

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
