I am trying to implement the user feedback provided by
Windows Explorer when draggng a filename from one place to
another.
I have the drag and drop action worked out but have had no
luck in finding how to capture the piece of the screen
into a bitmap to simulate the movement. I know this could
be done with the Windows API but can't find any way to do
it with .Net functions.
Any help is appreciated.

Hello Experts,
Currently I am working on a windows-based project using asp.net with C#.
One of the project tasks is to create a scheduler. For example I have
two datagrids with one rows each: dgA and dgB. On dgA, each column
display a customer name; on dgB, each column is a date (i.e. 1st, 2nd,
3rd, 4th...). Now what I need to do is drop a customer name from dgA to
any date in dgB.

Hello:
I have spent two days on drag and drop now and I'm getting no where.
I am trying to drag an item from a listbox and load it into a datagrid
(actually a child of the datagrid, but I'll be happy for now to get to
the parent.) I can get the selected row of the target, but that is
not the same as dropped_on row. I've tried to get the mouse_up
event, but drag and drop seems to override the mouse_up. I've tried
the hitTest but it...

If one were to develop a web server control (web control library), which
enhances the datagrid by implementing a class that inherits from the DataGrid
class, and give it drag and drop capability.
In other words a re-usable server control that is a datagrid only it allows
a user to drag it around the web page.
Any suggestions on how to implement the drag and drop feature? I looked into
htc's but that would require htc files for the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
