Think of a Drop Down List in a template column in a data grid in the Edit
Template. In the Item template there is a label whose:
text = '<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "FieldName")%>' The
FieldName comes from the table that the data grid is bound.
What would be neat would be to be able to fill the Data Value Field and the
Data Text Field of that Drop Down List from a pick list that is passed as a
data table form a class.
In other...

Hello -
I'm using a Repeater control to render information in a very customized
grid-like table. The Repeater control is binded to a DataSet with several
records of information. Within the Repeater control, I've placed
DropDownLists and CheckBoxes.
When the user has updated the information, he/he clicks the submit button
which is outside the scope of the Repeater control.

Dear Group,
I have a heirarchical set of database tables, say - "order" and "order_type"
and want to display a series of orders in a grid control, and in place of
the order_type foreign key identifier, I would like a dropdown combo box
(lookup from the "order_type" table) to change the type of the order. I also
need an update command button, a delete row button and also an insert new
row button.
I'm sure this is a very common design...

I want to display 'n' records for a table-driven data entry page.
The first column should be readonly and the 2nd column, a checkbox WRITABLE
(NOT READONLY).
I can't use the gridview because it creates -> checked="checked"
disabled="disabled"
What I need is more like this;
<form id="form1" runat="server">
<div>
<table>

I understand how to use a dropdown list control to display the
associated description value for a foreign key in a parent rather than
the key itself, but I don't like having to disable the control when I
want to prevent editing (simply displaying in the display template of a
datalist or detailview control, for example). I've not been able to
find a way to edit the disabled color of the dropdown list, so it
appears very washed out - just...

Hi there,
I've been trying to implement a repeater control in an ASP.NET 2 page
but I can't seem to get the layout exactly how I want and I'm not sure
if it's something that I am doing wrong or maybe the repeater control
doesn't have the capabilities...?
The page needs to display a custom number of sections that appear the
same but have different data..

Hi I have a generic list of data
list <typelistcategory;
listcategory = new list <type>;
I also have a dropdown box that I have put into a template column of a
gridview.
I was able to populate the dropdown box ok when it was outside of the gridview
for (int i = 0; i <= listcategory.Count - 1; i++)
{
ddl.Items.Add(listcategory.Description);

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
