I am new to webservices and I am trying to get a simple Webservice
client in VB (Using Microsoft SOAP Toolkit) to access a webservice on a public site. I get the following error message when I run my webservice client...
Runtime Error '-2147024809 (80070057)
WSDLReader: Loading of the WSDL file failed HRESULT=0x80070057
WSDLReader:XML Parser failed at linenumber 0, lineposition 0, reason is:Access is denied.

Hi there,
We have a web application written in C# that need to deal with MS word
2003. it works fine on developer's machine but when we deployed it on
web server, we got error msg says "Access is denied". So i guess the
code is OK but web server configuraion has to be changed.
I got .Net framework 1.1 installed on webserver and deployed the
webapplication. Then i installed Office 2003. and set DCOM(word)
permission and web folder...

Guys
On my development machine I have a very simple app that takes input
from user from asp, runs some macros in excel and spits out the result
back on asp page. This works perfectly well on my host. I deployed this
by making 'Web Setup' project in VS.net and installing it on remote
server which is Windows Server 2003. After installing it I could go to
that page etc etc. Here is the error. I gave full access to ASPNET user
via explorer....

Hi,
I am getting an Error "Access to the path...... is denied" Error. I have an
web app and I am creating a log file to write the error info. If I have the
absolute path "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Samples\Test\bin" and write the file
there, then it works but if i try another method say "Machinename\path" e.g:
\\Stephen\Samples\Test\bin then it gives me Access to path denied Error.
No matter which machine/server its deployed, I want it write...
