filename=download.xls "
The actual streaming and excel file are working fine but
in excel its not picking up the filename its actually
showing up as the url to the page that downloads this. I

Hi,
I'm trying to customize print settings while streaming HTML content into
Excel. I'm using ASP.NET 1.1 and Excel 2003.
While some printer settings like Margins are working correctly, I cannot
change the Page Orientation to Landscape: mso-page-orientation:landscape;.
I tried to produce the Excel Page, save it as HTML, open in text editor and
then copy and paste Excel generated settings. But it did not help.
If anybody resolved this...

I would like to parse an email, which I receive from a pop3 account.
While the subject and the sender's email address are probably easy to
determine, the body seems to be more difficult because of multi-part
messages in MIME format.
I am interested only in the plain text.
Do you know an easy way to retrieve plain text of the body from an email
message?
Maybe a class, which can be constructed using the whole message string as a
parameter...

Does anyone know how I could stream Excel to the browser for download without
saving the file somewhere first. I wasn't sure how I would go about it.

Hi,
I have a form page to print on my web application(asp.net). I want to show
the page in WORD. I use that code in asp.net Page_Load event:
Response.Clear();
Response.ContentType = "application/ms-word";
Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment;filename=word.doc");
When I open the page in IE shows a dialog to ask whether I want to open or
save. It is ok. But when I click Open or Save button, I get an error message:

Hi,
I have a ASP.NET aspx file that needs to pass large images from a network
storage to client browser. The requirement is that users cannot have access
to the network share. The aspx file must be the only method that users
receive image files.

Hi,
My client has asked me to provide a "quick and dirty" way to export the
contents of a DataGrid to both Excel for analysis and Word for editing and
printing, so I'm investigating client-side automation.
N.B. the environment is a totally enclosed intranet, all the client machines
have WinXP, IE6 and Office Pro 2003 with all the latest SPs, and the IE
security settings are sufficient to allow the Local Intranet Zone to
instantiate...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
