You don't. Launching this in a new window
requires client side script.

I use Respose.Redirect quite a bit but on one of my pages it has an odd behavior. Any time I use it on this page it will come up in a new Window. I didn't even think this was an option and can't find how to turn it on or off. Using Response.Redirect("Newpage.aspx"); to add to this it has another odd behavior. Start on "Page1" redirect to "Page2"

I need to do a redirect whereas the target URL is going to another browser window. The following is not valid : '''' Response.Redirect("admin-login.aspx" target="blank") '''' ....giving me a " Comma, ')', or a valid expression continuation expected." error.

Ok, I give up... why do 1-4 work fine... but 5-6 give "can't find" errors? 1. Client-side VBscript code: call navigate("\\209.11.22.33\MyDir") 2. Client-side VBscript code: location.href ="\\209.11.22.33\MyDir" 3. Typing "\\209.11.22.33\MyDir" into my ie6 browser. 4. Typing "\\209.11.22.33\MyDir" into my Windows Explorer. 5. Server-side ASP: server.transfer "\\209.11.22.33\MyDir" 6. Server-side ASP: response.redirect...

I have a web page that is designed to allow users to run crystal reports which are then exported into PDF formats. Currently, when the user clicks the "Submit" button there is some processing to build the PDF file and then I use a Response.Redirect("Exported\\crystal_report_name.pdf)"; command to redirect the page. However, the user wants the PDF file to open in a new window. Is there a way I can do this? It doesn't have to be...

I have a site that uses frames. I made an aspx form with an asp:button control with Onclick=test. The test sub is: Sub Test(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Response.Redirect("http://webserver/policies/pppindex.htm target=_blank") End Sub Of course, this will not work. Is there some way I can get a similar result

Hallo!

I recently developed an internal website with various queries against our SQL server. I added buttons with Response.Redirect. These buttons do not work with Internet Explorer, however when using Firefox the page works flawless. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

In Heyperlink, you can specify the target of URL, such as _blank. But how can I specify the target in Response.Redirect? Thanks Luke

When a server encounters the line Response.Redirect("abcd.asp") in a ASP script, the server tells the browser that it has to be redirected to another page (which is abcd.asp, in this case). The browser then makes a new request to the server to redirect itself to abcd.asp after which the user gets redirected to abcd.asp. But in case of Server.Execute (or Server.Transfer), when the server

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
