I have a datagrid in my web control class that I am trying to get the current
rows displayed for. I have enabled paging on the datagrid so if the user is
currently on page 3 of 8, and if I have allowed for the table to show only 5
rows at a time, for example, I want to get the 5 rows that are displayed on
page 3 of 8. How do I do this???? Thanks!

Hello all!
I have quite an strange question: I'm using DataGrid to display the results
of a query stored in a DataSet. I use data binding with DataBinder.Eval
statement (like e.g. <%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "ColumnName")
%>).
Now the tricky part: is it possible to render one more table row for each
record that would be span over several columns and contain some further
databound informations? What I want to say is that I...

Dear ASP.NET Users,
How can I get the total number of rows selected by the command text of the
datagrid (items in datagrid)? If I use the statement grdSP.Items.Count with
the datagrid grdSP with paging, it returns the page size (5,10..) not the
total results. How can I get the total no?
Thanks in advance,
Buran

Hi guys,
Say I made a SELECT statement to my sql DB that would return 50 rows
that I will use a sqldatareader to access. Instead of iterating through
each and every row of the datareader, I'd like to just iterate through,
say, rows 20 through 30.
How can one do this?

Hey all,
I am very new to ASP.Net (and .Net in general), but that isn't stopping the
boss from wanting to begin new projects in it. This latest project has me
kinda stumped and after a couple days of struggling, I figure asking you all
(the experts) will keep me from going down some dark and dangerous road.
The project I have is a fairly simple one, in theory anyway. The gist is to
create a page where the user enters an IDNumber,...

If a row of data in a dataset has a lot of columns the row displaying the
data in a datagrid will run way off the screen. What I'd like to do is
display a row of data over several datagrid rows so the user doesn't have to
scroll horizontally. Essentially, I want to wrap a datagrid row (not text in
individual columns) with as much control as possible. Make sense?
While this seems simple enough on the surface, I can't figure out how to do...

Hi-
I have a datagrid that in some cases can be several thousand rows in
length. What I'd like it to do is have the data pushed to the browser
after every, say, 100 rows or so. Kind of a "response.flush" effect--
at a certain recurring point in the process, take what we've got and
send it to the browser. Is this possible?
Thanks.

Hi,
I'm using a DataGrid control to show a table's content with paging. For
navigation through the pages I'm using the DataGrid's intrinsic navigation
section.
My problem: The DataGrid navigation links use JavaScript to jump between
pages. I want them to use standard hyperlinks providing the page number in
some URL parameter so that I can copy the hyperlink elsewhere.

Is there a way to carry data that I have already read from the datagrid from
page to page?
I am looking at my Datagrid that I page through and when the user says get
the next page, I have to go to the database to get the next page. Is there
a way to use the dataset to allow us to read back and forth in it instead of
going back to the database to get it?
Thanks,

ONU (Optical Network Unit) is one of the key components for providing high-speed Internet services. Its primary function is to act as an endpoint device located at the user's premises. Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
