Ben
Hi

We have been developing an intranet using VB .NET displaying crystal

We repeatedly receive the error below on both the development machine and
the deployment server:

I have read the information on many sites and followed instructions with no

Thanks

Help.... I've created an ADO.NET dataset in Visual Studio (a web project). I build the project and then try to create a Crystal Report using the dataset. When I try to use the ADO.NET dataset in Crystal Report (selected from Project Data) by double clicking the dataset name (yes, it does at least show up) I get a consistent error: Logon failed. Details: Object reference

Hi all, I encountered a crystal report deployment problem. I make reports with Crystal Report for Visual Studio .NET 2003. It works fine in the development machine. And then make setup package. Installed on a windows server 2003 system (without visual studio .net 2003), the report gives error about "Logon Failed". The data source is specified to OLE DB SQL Server, and the LogOnInfo is specified by

I posted this in another forum, but I'm adding it here to for more exposure.I am using Visual Studio 2003 and trying to get Crystal Reports to produce output. If you have any ideas, please let me know. This is a common problem, but nobody seems to have an answer for it. CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.LogOnException: Logon failed. What does that mean, specifically? What logon is failing?

Hi I am trying to create a simple 'hello world' type web application involving a crystal report. I have basically done it the simplest possible way as described in the documentation, by adding a crystal report, choosing the data source for it*, and selecting columns. I then added a CrystalReportViewer from the 'Web forms' tab to the WebForm1.aspx page, and then also added a ReportDocument thing from the components tab (with the 'cached'...

I know that this has been beaten to death but I can't seem to resolve my issues (I have 2 of them). I have created a class that exposes a public method which returns a datatable as a datasource for a Crystal Report. The method has a single argument which represents a parameter required by the Stored Procedure. When I generate the report in Crystal and run it using the class I built, it works fine. I've tried it with parameters and...

Hi, I am using the Crystal Enterprise .NET assemblies to generate and display a crystal report in a webform. This report connects to an SQL server (running locally) using a specific username and password. I use the InfoStore object to query for the report from the CE server (also running locally) and bind it to the CrystalReportViewer control in the webform. I am getting an "SQL Server logon failed" when I try to generate this

Hello, I need help. I have experience in ASP.NET programming, but this is my first dealing with Crystal Reports. I'm trying to make the most basic report purely for testing purposes: connect to the remote SQL DB and create a report on one of the tables. Every time I do it, I get the Logon Failed error (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.LogOnException: Logon failed) The internet search shows that this is a common problem,...

Hi All Am having major problem with crystal reports...Have designed my report no problem, its when I try to run and display ther report that I am getting a "Login Failed" message. At first I thought it might have to do with the regristration key, but that ok, when I right click on Servers in the server explorer and then expand the Crystal Server, there is a red x beside the Crystal Enterprise. When I click on log in, I am asked for a

I come across the error "CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.LogOnException: Logon failed." After I move my asp.net code from the development platform (XP professional) to the production web server (windows 2003 server) by generating the msi file from the setup and deployment project and adding the merge modules. The msi file is installed to the windows 2003 server. The installation unzips all the files to the windows 2003 server....

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
