What is the best way to clone a project?

What is the best way to clone a project to a BRAND NEW PROJECT on my dev
machine? Copy Project doesn't seem to work well.

Example: I have a ShoppingCart template VS.NET solution. I want to make a
totally new, separate solution called ShoppingCart2. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Make a new project called ShoppingCart2 that is of the same project type as
the first project. You can then use the Copy Project feature (selecting to
copy all project files) or you can manually copy and paste the files into
the new project folder.

Hi All, I am writing my own implementation of queue via a linked list, note not a LinkedList, and was running into trouble with the clone method. I was wondering if anyone could point out some not so obvious errors I have made.. Cheers

Hey, I have a problem to understand the underlaying of clone method. Hope someone can help me out. Let's say, clonedObject = originalObject.clone() (syntax may be wrong, but you know what I mean, I hope ) Why can't I just do this, instead?

Is it possible to clone a datagrid? I've created a datagrid on my aspx page, editing various attributes, adding columns, etc. I would like to, in code, create an arbitrary number of these datagrids. Any ideas? I thought that perhaps I should createa a separate "web user control". I added my datagrid to this control, I compiled, then I dragged the control to my aspx page. The control did not render in the designer.

In my app I want to have a run-time generated tab showing various controls - for instance a form for a user to fill in. I have a tab page in a hidden tabcontrol and all I want to do is clone it to another tabcontrol and show it. Giving me the ability to show maybe 5, 6 , 7 or more of the same tab page. Any Ideas? Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
