Hi
I'm trying to define a skin for a custom control. I can't see how to do
it...
My custom control inherits from a TextBox but it doesn't recognize the
skinID defined for asp:TextBox.
Any idea ?
Thanks,
Fred

Does anyone know why intellisense is not supported in the skin file
editor in VS 2005? Is there away around this or not? Just makes it hard
to code these files as you have to create the control in a web page or
equivalent that supports intellisense and then move it to the skin
file. Any help or suggestions.
Thanks
Jerome

Hello,
I am just converting a 1.1 web site to use version 2.0 of the framework
and have run into a weird problem trying to add a skin file.
I set up a theme, and moved the CSS file in there, no problem. I then
changed one of the <img> tags in the master page to look like...
<asp:Image ID="imgBsd" SkinId="imgBsd" runat="server" />

I am going insane. We have created a themeable control called
GridViewBase:
public class GridViewBase : GridView
in another assembly called BBB:UI and the namespace is BBB:UI as well.
I can successfully use this control in my aspx page with both declaring
it in my web.config OR directly in the page itself with @Register.
FYI... the assembly is referenced by project in the solution and we are
using C#.

ASP.NET 2.0
I have a GridView on my webpage. The ItemTemplate and
AlternativeItemTemplate should have different background color.
I've tryed this technique which don't help at all, it only displays
backgorund color for the label control, it doesn't fill the entire
ItemTemplate

Label1UserName %>' AssociatedControlID="UserName" style="FONT-WEIGHT:
bold;FONT-SIZE: 11px; COLOR: #000000"></asp:Label>
from the globalResources and I get the following error:
Expressions are not allowed in skin files.

I can't found how use just text files in Themes. All examples about .skin files
I need something like that
text1=Hello,world.
text2=Goodbye.
text3=Some text here.
So I can use key "text2" and get value "Goodbye". Like ini files in windows.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
