I have a radio button list, a textbox representing SIN or EIN based on my radio button list selection so I put 2 regularexpressionvalidator to evaluate the value of textbox.
EIN must be (for simplicity) with this format (2 digits) like 12 (ValidationExpression="\d{3}-\d{2}")
and SIN must be (for simplicity) with this format (3digits-2digits) like 123-45 (ValidationExpression="\d{3}-\d{2}")
It works well. The problem is: When I...

Hi everyone,
I have been using various regular expressions with the ASP.NET
RegularExpressionValidator for quite some time. In general it works
very well. One of the common regex's that I use follows:
ValidationExpression = "^\d{0,3}(\.\d{0,4})?$"
The purpose of this one is to validate that numeric values input
follow the syntax 999.9999. This works well. But, one thing that I
have never tested previously (which has now been uncovered...

I've got a RegularExpressionValidator that partly works. Let me
explain:
With the Validator below I am only able to search for one letter/number
at a time. If I want to search for Diana I see 'Valid Search String',
but if I search for A then I see all 113 results. Am I missing
something here?
<asp:RegularExpressionValidator id="revMenuSearch"
ValidationExpression="" ControlToValidate="tbSearch"

I'm trying to use a asp:RegularExpressionValidator to validate the
strength of a password. When I test the regular expression with
Regex.IsMatch, it works perfectly. However, when used within a
RegularExpressionValidator, it always returns false.
Has anyone else had issues with the RegularExpressionValidator not
correctly parsing a regular expression?
The regular expression I am using is:
"^.*(?=.*\d)|(?=.*)|(?=.*)(?=.*)(?=.{8,}).*$"

I am using a RegularExpressionValidator to validate a TextBox. I use
"^?+(\.*)?$" to check for a real number. The control works
fine as long as the user enters something in the TextBox; it does not work if
the user leaves the TextBox blank. Is there a bug in the implementation of
the RegularExpressionValidator? The above regluar expression should also
catch no entry by the user.
I have added a RequiredFieldValidator to solve the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
