Visual Studio .NET has detected that tthe specified Web server is

I have installed SP2 for XP, and after this I can not create a new Visual
Studio ASP.Net Web Application - get the errormessage:

"Visual Studio .NET has detected that tthe specified Web server is not
running ASP.NET version 1.1..."

I have runned aspnet_regiis /i.
Reinstalled IIS (5.1), ASP.NET framework 1.1, Visual Studio 2003.

Installed every hotfix and service pack I could find for Visual Studio and
..NET Framework, but nothing will work.

Do I have to uninstall XP SP2???

Anyone that can help me!?

you ran
aspnet_regiis - i

Right ?
not with the /i i hope.

i have seen this problem but one a remote server and i was messing about
with the Biztalk on the server. I would recommend removing SP2, if possible
and if the above command doesnot resolve the problem, try and do a clean
build. After reinstallation of the OS, please install IIS (add remove
components) then install service pack 2

At this point take a backup using tools like DriveImage or Ghost (the
lastest version is DriveImage renamed as Ghost) and its written in .net
http://www.powerquest.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/

then install visual studio and the rest of the tools.

First of all......my environment is WinXP, IIS5.1, ASP.NET 1.1, Visual Studio 2003 Ok. I know that I've messed something up but can't seem to put my finger on it. I recently set up my IIS so that the default web site ends up pulling the web site from a specified directory. Again, this is in the "Default Web Site" configuration. Before I did this, I was able to open web projects at will. Now, I cannot open any web project. I get the...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
