Treeview and table

I have a treeview in my website.
I've put it in a table so the other items on the page are standing next to
the treeview.
Now if I expand my treeview, my table doesn't grow along with the treeview.

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this problem?

So many postings on not to use the treeview control, but nothing recently. Is it safe to swim there yet with Access 2000-Access 2003?

Warning - long message. Many thanks for making the A97 version of the treeview w/o activex controls available. I have taken it down a different path and ended up doing almost everything differently. It now has, built in, the ability to have 12 levels, not just 3. The tree's recordsource table (TreeviewRS) is built based on information

Can anyone point me to a site where I can get a free treeview control to use in ASP .NET or any tutorial that can help me build my own treeview control. I intend to use a treeview to generate a dynamic menu by collating data from a Sql Server Table. Many thanks.

Hello, We are inserting a side menu to our application using a class that is writing HTML on all our pages. This is a part of the code as an example: writer.Write(" <table WIDTH=""100%"" BORDER=""0"" CELLSPACING=""0"" CELLPADDING=""0"" ID=""Table1""> " & vbNewLine) writer.Write(" <tr>" & vbNewLine) writer.Write(" <td>" & vbNewLine)

I am trying to create a treeview out of a database table with the typical structure ID, NAME, PARENTID, TYPE, EXTRA_INFO, where is linked to the . What I want to achieve is create a tree made of custom, extended nodes, which include all the extra information contained in the table and not just typical TreeNode objects. To do that, I first created a structure with all the extra

I have a treeview sourced from a SiteMap. I want to use 2 different CSS styles for the root level nodes. The topmost root node should not have a top border, all the other root nodes should have a top border. Is it possible to have more than 1 style at the same level (parent node) when using a SiteMap? I want it to appear something like this and I can only find a way to either have the border on all root nodes or none at all. In...

Hi, I am a self taught VBA programmer, and I'm trying to learn VB2005 Express (The price was right). I like the look of the treeview control, and I'd like to use it as a menu system for my users, the options they are allowed to see are all different and specified in a MSACCESS table. Can I populate a Treeview directly from my MSAccess table ? I can then of course filter the table to only show that users options.

Hi all- I'm trying to Render a TreeView in a custom control, but I'm receiving a NullReferenceException at runtime. If I put the TreeView on the page it works fine, but as soon as I try to render it within my control it crashes and burns. I've even tried placing it within another control (a PlaceHolder) and tried to render the PlaceHolder to no avail. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Here's my code:

Let's say I have a Treeview control on a form. Each leaf node in the Treeview has a ContextMenuStrip, each with one ToolStripMenuItem, and all ToolStripMenuItems Click event is handled by a comment event handler. How do I determine which Treeview Node signalled the menu event in the common event handler?

Hello I have populated a treeview from my dataset and by clicking in the treeview i want to get the corresponding table shown in a datagridview. Ive managed this by looking at each DataRow and child rows and added the nodes with a columnname from each datarow. At the same time i have put in a tag at each treenode with a filter string and the current table im looking at as a string to use for later so i can create a datatable and set a filter...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
