Response Buffer Limit Exceeded Help Needed

Hi All,

I have an SQL Server 2000 table that contains less than 2000 records. I
would like to select some of these records and group them. The query I
wrote runs fine in SQL Server's Query Analyzer, but when I run it in an ASP
page, I get:
Response object error 'ASP 0251 : 80004005'

Response Buffer Limit Exceeded

/test.asp, line 0

Execution of the ASP page caused the Response Buffer to exceed its
configured limit.

The line I am executing in ASP is this:

strSQL = "SELECT substring(BOS_d ata.mtoc,2,6) as 'MODEL',
count(substring (BOS_data.mtoc, 2,6)) as 'Production' FROM BOS_data WHERE
BOS_data.plantc ode =" & Request.queryst ring("pcode") & " and
pdate='08/27/2004' GROUP BY substring(BOS_d ata.mtoc,2,6)"

Like I said, it runs fine in SQL Server 2000. This code is running on a
Windows 2003 Server Web Edition Box under IIS6.0.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian.

I had a download failure problem with a 95MB wmv file. I thought it was my code but I could not find anything wrong. So I tested the download by replacing the 95MB file with a smaller one (20MB). It worked fine. When I contacted my hosting company this is what they told me.

Thank you. <% set conn = server.CreateObject("Adodb.connection") conn.open application("connStr") manualID = request.querystring("manualID") if request.Form("manualID") <"" then manualID = request.form("manualID")

Hi, I really need you help because I'm not very familliar with ASP and I could not find any solution to my problem. To put you in situation, I have a CGI to which I send a file name, and that script return me that file. But for security reason, I don't want to publish the address of this CGI, so I encapsulated it in an ASP file. This way, only this ASP file knows where the CGI is.

I have an ASP app that we've moved from a Windows 2000 to a Windows 2003 server (sql server 2000 to sql server 2005). The job runs fine on the old servers. Part of the app takes a recordset and response.writes out comma delimited strings so that the results are opened in Excel or saved to a flat file. Basically, it looks something like this like this:

Initial issue: read in an arbitrary-length piece of text. Perceived issue: handle variable-length data The code below is a suggestion for implementing a variable length buffer that could be used to read text or handle arrays of arbitrary length. I don't have the expertise in C of many folks here so I feel like I'm offering a small furry animal for sacrifice to a big armour plated one... but will offer it anyway. Please do suggest...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
