The problem started when the Working Folder for a project was somehow set to
the folder of another project. I set the correct working folder in VSS and
deleted the .vbproj files that had been created in the wrong folder on the
hard drive. Before I discovered these files, .NET kept trying to create a
new project with _1 following the project name. Deleting those files
corrected that problem.

I have a C# solution with a dozen or so projects. There are references
between the projects, and these were all added as "Project" references.
Everything's been working fine for months, but suddenly today it all
collapsed in a heap. I get a mysterious error when running the project:
"The located assembly's manifest definition with name '<MyClass>' does
not match the assembly reference"

I keep getting this error message when I build my solution:
Error: The dependency 'xxx.xx.xx, Version=1.0.2067.27633, Culture=neutral'
in project 'xxx.xx.xx' cannot be copied to the run directory because it
would conflict with dependency 'xxx.xx.xx, Version=1.0.2068.11260,
Culture=neutral'.
I have a solution that contains 10 class library projects, some of these
projects require references to other projects within the solution....

When executing the ASP.NET app, I get:
"Error while trying to run a project: Unable to start debugging on the web
server. A debugger is already attached. Would you like to disable future
attempts to debug ASP.NET pages for this projecty? Yes or No"
There are no compile errors. If I answer "Yes", it turns off the debug
option in one of my projects (data layer). If I answer "No", it returns to
the IDE.

Lately I have been getting the following error with all of my web
applications, in debug and release mode.
"Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the web
server. Could not start ASP.NET or ATL Server debugging.
Verify that ASP.NET or ATL Server is correctly installed on the server."
I can create a brand new hello world web application and this happens. Any
ideas?

I'm trying to implement a custom RoleProvider based on the SqlRoleProvider.
I keep receiving a an error that it can't load type
'MyRoleTest.MyRoleProvider' when trying to load my RoleProvider. However

I used VB2005 (VB.Net Apps) for about a year without problem. And all at a
sydden, nothing works now : When starting a project in VB.net (debug mode),

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
