I think the problem that you'll be redirected to login page is because you
set the <deny users="?"> in the web.config file in the application's root
folder, yes? Then, the trace.axd is also protected from unauthenticated
users. I think we can use the <location> element to specify different
<authorizatio n> level for the "trace.axd" so as to differ it from normal
pages. For example:
<configuratio n>
<location path="trace.axd ">
<system.web>
<authorizatio n>
<allow users="*" />
</authorization>
</system.web>
</location>
<system.web>
.......main configuration section
.......
</system.web>
</configuration>
This setting will allow all users(no matter login yet or not) to view the
trace.axd. You may have a try to see whether it works. In addtion, below
