I have a .Net solution which involves several webapps and
class libraries. In order to localize the web pages, I
use resource files for the strings, following MS's
guidelines vis-a-vis file naming etc. So there is a file
called Strings.resx and one called String.da.resx (da for
the Danish language).

Hi all,
we have developed a .NET component for use inside Windows Forms: this
component has been written using VC++.NET (2003) and is working perfectly
when inserted inside VC#.NET or VB.NET projects; its generated assembly is
inside MyAssembly.dll
When used inside a VC++.NET project it appears correctly over forms at
design time but when trying to compile the project we get the following

I had an aspx page (mypage.aspx) with a code behind file (mypage.aspx.cs)
that in turn had a resx file (mypage.aspx.resx). I decided to create another
aspx page (myotherpage.aspx) that would reuse the code-behind from the first
page (mypage.aspx.cs). I hooked everything together and both aspx pages work
great. In the process I renamed the code-behind file (mypage.aspx.cs). This

I'm currently working on a Localization+Globalization project; for this
project, we need to generate ".Resx" files and we use "US English" Resx
file as the base version, to compare the content with other languages.
We have quite a number of Resx file and each Resx file has enough items
so there is a high probability that we might miss few nodes/items in
RESx files of other language.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
