I have a page that takes a comma delimited string and needs to bind to a
Repeater control. The string is split into an Array, and each value is put
into a DataBase query via a For Each loop. The purpose is to retrieve
address information for the user. Sometimes, the address_fk field in the
people table is null, so there will be no linking address information. In
this case, the section to be displayed asks if the user would like to create...

I have a DataReader that I am binding to a Repeater control. In the
DataReader, I have two fields: 'Name1' and 'Name2'
'Name1' will always have a person's name. Name2 periodically has a person's
name. So the question is if there is a value in 'Name2', I want to display
only that name. Otherwise, display 'Name1'
Any help on how to do this?
Using VS.NET - vb

Is is possible?
In VS.NET 2003, Binding data to the repeater is easy, but when I try to add
an ASP:checkbox to the .aspx page, the designer won't recognize it, hence
the code view doesn't allow me to access it. The funny thing is that it
compiles fine, and the checkboxes are there, I just can't write to them!
Is there a way around this problem?
My HTML is as follows:

Hello.
I have an interesting data binding scenario:
I have a repeater control. It repeats a typical custom web user
control.
I also have a collection object, and each collection element contains
various pieces of information inside a custom object, including an id
field.

I am struggling with implementing somewhat complicated UI web-control. I
explored Repeater, but I am not sure if it's the best way to go. I am leaning
towards writing my own custom control and creating elements on the fly
dynamically.
I have a control that needs to display 3 columns and n number of rows
depending on number of records. Sounds simple. But each Row has a control
with its own data source binding and value must be selected...

Hello
I have a data repeater control. Each row has set of <asp:net> controls.
DropDownList,TextBox and buttons. User can add new rows, delete excisting
rows and enter data.
When user is done entering data and submits the form (clicks "save" button)
what is the easiest way to retrieve all data stored in repeater control? Is
looping through Item collection the right way to go about it?
Thank you

Hello all,
I am experimenting with the repeater control and ran into something
that I wasn't expecting. I would appreciate if the experts can confirm
or correct my understanding.
Here is a fragment of a very simple page that I wrote that will drill
down into the displayed item. The result is to be display on the same
page so that the user can keep on drilling down:

I'm doing a web app in VB/Dot Net 2.0. I'm probably a bit rusty and I have
no experience using the repeater control.
I have a user control I've created with multiple properties. I've created a
test page and I've managed to bind the usercontrol to a repeater and display
some data in the following fashion:
<asp:Repeater ID="Repeater1" runat="server" DataSourceID="ObjectDataSource1">
<ItemTemplate >
<uc1:AUserControl runat="server"...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
