Hello Zameer,

I suggest you to use the powerful Jisys Word Report
component(http://www.jisys.com/wordreports/wordreports.html) You can't
do what you described easier than with this tool ! I use it on several
applications, i have to say that it truly rocks !

Hope it helps.

Hi all, I've created XML documents that are described with a schema. I'm using those documents to create web pages. All my web pages contain a fixed header and a variable document part. The header is the same in each page and is described in an XML document, "Head.xml". The document part, which is variable in content, is described in other XML files (e.g. "Document.xml", "Product.xml", "Register.xml").

Has anyone solved the issue of translating lists in Word 2003 (WordML) into xHTML? I have been trying to get the nested table code for my XSLT to work for a while now, with no way to get the collection that I need. To begin, I am using xsltproc that conmes with Cygwin as my processor. I have no particular affinity to this processor except that it is open source and standards compliant. I don't like M$, but if using a M$ processing...

Hello -- I am looking for a way to dynamically generate PDF documents - combining Crystal Reports and data driven "fields". For example, I have a template that's essentially a summary document and I would like to populate certain fields with client names and account data. Also, I would like to make a "master" PDF that contains all the PDF summaries in one document -- and use bookmarks if possible.

Hello, I want to create a Word XML file based on the input users make in a VB.NET application. I imagine creating a template in Word and saving it as a XML file. I then want to fill the template (in my application) based on the user input. When the document gets opened there should be fields users can change but others should be prevented from beeing changed (I know that an "open" file format like XML can always be modified to allow...

Apologies for the newbie question. I have created a vb.net program for my company that is designed to work with Word Templates (about forty of them that we commonly use) that are selected by the user and populated (with info from an Access database) at run-time, then saved as Word documents. The program I have coded works fine -- it does what I need it to do. But it has two problems: (1) it runs very slowly, and (2) it does not seem to...

Hello, I would greatly appreciate if someone can show me how to dynamically build a Repeater with unknown number of columns at design time. I have looked various threads in this newsgroup, websites, MSDN and was not able to find something that would help me understand and code. I might not be searching for the right words or phrases. So if you know how to do this or know of links or websites that have information about this, please...

We have an access DB that 2 input people use to tracking incoming patients. There is a form for them to do this but they find it confusing to use (it's plainly laid out, no one else complains about it). Management has decided that they want me to link 15 of our templates so when a template is opened and text entered into one of the text fields it will automatically be entered into the database. First of all, is this possible? ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
