Err running the application in ASP.net - URGENT

hi All,
When I run my asp.net application, I am getting this
following error message.

"Error while trying to run project: Unable to start
debugging on the web server. Access is denied. Would you
like to disable future attempts to debug ASP.NET pages for
this project? "

I have seen the article 318465 and followed the steps. I
have verified that my login id in administror and Debug
user group. But still i am getting this error message.

Any other steps we have to follow to solve this problem??
Please let me know. It is very urgent.

Thanks,
Ramesh

Hi Ramesh,

I had the same error after disabling "Integrated Windows Authentication" in
IIS. After enabling it again, it worked.

Hope this helps,
Michel

I installed CR 10 to my .NET development machine and upgraded an application to using CR10. Now the clients running this application cannot run CR reports. Because all clients run the app from a network share, I would like to know if it's possible to copy the necessary CR10 files to the app's folder to allow them to run CR10 instead of installing the application at every client machine. If this is not possible, what's the procedure to...

I started to struggle with this recently. We have already crossed the inheritance issue with root web's/assemblies and so on from the web.config (ie we are using the remove assembly attribute in sub webs). Anyway, we have upgraded our main root site to .net 2.0. We have a few other apps under the root that are 1.1 and started reporting this error. Configuration Error Description: An error occurred during the processing of a...

Hi I am learning ASP.NET using C#. I am able to run .aspx files on local system, but when I load them to the server, I get the "Server Error in '/' Application" error. I have tried to configure the web.config file but has not been fruitful. I would be thankful if the following questions were answered: a)has the write permissions on files and folders have to do something with it? b)what role does asp_client folder play? c) What other...

Hello. We're developing an ASP.NET 2.0 (C#) application and we're trying to AJAX-enable it. We're having problem with a page not showing the page while a long-running process is executing. So, we're looking for a way to display the page with a "please wait..." message while the process is running, and then, when the process is done, update the page with the actual results/page content. We have a page that opens another browser/page...

I run two instances of an application on a pc at one time. I want them to assume app A and app B identities. If I check for a previous instance of the app running when the app starts I can determine if the app is the first to start or not. If it's the first it become app A if not app B. The problem becomes if after both are running app A is shutdown and restarted. It'll see another instance of the app is running and think it is app...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
