Well I had a way to write an array to an excel spreadsheet but on a huge
time critical run it failed iwth the dreaded HRESULT: 0x800A03EC error. It
worked fine when i sampled the data to go in but when it all tried to go in
it bombed.
So I need to write this to a tab delimited file and I sure hope somebody is
awake tonight.
How do I write my dataset to make a tab delimted text file?

I'm re-writing an application in C# that was originally written in
Delphi 7. The heart of the application is a DataSet displayed in a
DataGrid.
One of the main functions of the previous application was to save the
data to a file (it was XML, but the format is unimportant) that can be
re-loaded into the DataSet at a later time. (The reason for this was
that the queries which populate the DataSet can take a while to run, and
people...

I'm just starting out with C# after many years with VB 6.0.
I'm trying to fill a listbox with a list of computer names (almost 100) from
app.config. First, is app.config the place to store and retrieve this large
list?
If so, I'm looking for code to obtain the list of computer names from
app.config, and also an example of how the computer names need to be listed
in app.config.

Hi,
My app needs to read a text file, compare the data to that already
stored in the DB and generate a text file of the differences.
The UI displays the text file data and the db data in a series of
Datagridviews.
Piclk a row in the text file master table dgv and the other dgvs move
to the appropriate records so you can eyeball the differences before
generating the difference file.

In the Registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Jet \ 4.0 \ Engines \ Text
the default key for Text Format is:
"Format" = "CSVDelimited"
I can use the following OleDB connection string with an OleDB dataAdapter to
read a comma delimited text file when "Format" = "CSVDelimited"

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
