After following Microsofts admonition to reformat my system before doing a
final compilation of my app I got many warnings/errors upon compiling an rtf
file created in word. I used the Help Workshop program: hcw.exe that's
included with Visual Basic. This exact same file compiled perfectly with no
notes, warnings or errors prior to reformatting my system. Prior to the
reformatting, I copied the help.rtf file onto a CD and checked the box to...

VS2005 2.0 Beta 2 noting I've posted (to no avail so far) to the somewhat
deadzone at news://microsoft.public.vsnet.ide and am getting ants in my
pants for some discussion about this issue.
Using regions to manage source code in the IDE is very useful however I
prefer to align the region text on the left-most margin of the editor, i.e.
margin-left 0; that is.
The examples which follow show what I prefer and how VS2005 reformats the...

Hello All,
I am developing a page which has a complex layout. This layout cannot be
made using VS alone, so I have to go into the html view and edit the
html myself.
The problem is that everytime I save the file, (or add/remove any
component to the page) VS.Net reformats and re-edits the whole page.
I find this very irrating because VS.Net totally disorganizes my code.

It has been a while since I have had to use VS2003 to create asp.net apps.
I had forgotten what a terrible HTML editor it is. I have turned off all
reformating but cannot get it to stop changing things like the accept
attribute for a INPUT type=file.
Every time I make a change it take the double quotes away and I have to
recompile. Is there any way other than using notepad to make changes to
actually use VS?
It also does not respect...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
