Hi Friends
I am having problem in Event handling in ASP.NET.
Let me tell you what I am doing, I have having DataGrid
for which I am using 'Dynamic addition of Template
controls'. For this I have set 'AutoGenerateColumns'
property as false. I am raising few events from the
Template controls e.g Text Chamged event of TextBox UI
control, and bubbling the same event to the Parent control
using 'RaiseBubbleEvent' method of Control class. I...

Hi all.
My problem is that I can't handle events raised from child components within
a composite server control when the control is created dynamically.
Everything works fine if the same control is defined within an aspx page
<MyTag:MyControl id="MyControl1" runat="server">: MyControl handle
succesfully events raised from its children.
When I try to create dynamically MyControl and to Add it to another control,
event handling doesn't work...

I have a datagrid inside a datalist. The datalist shows parent info and the datagrid shows the child info for that parent. There is a checkbox on each row of the child datagrid. Also inside the datalist is a radiobuttonlist. When this radiobuttonlist is checked, I would like it to iterate thru each row on the child grid and either select or deselct the checkboxes (which are on each row of the child datagrid). In addition, the user can also check...

Hi all,
I don't normally post swathes of code like this but I am truly banging
my head off my desk here...
I've dynamically created a datagrid within a usercontrol. There are two
columns which contain buttons to Edit & Delete rows. For some reason,
the ItemCommand event which these should be connected to isn't firing.

I am having a problem with a dynamically-generated Datagrid. It is
important to point out that this problem does not exist with a
design-time created Datagrid, but only with a dynamically generated
Datagrid in a Web Custom Control (WCC) :
The datagrid has LinkButton Column which has a select LinkButton for
each row. When this button is clicked, the Datagrid raises its
'ItemCommand' event which captures the information for that row and...

hi,
i have an aspx page which dynamically loads a user control and adds it
to a placeholder. the control is recreated and added to the
placeholder for postbacks as well.
the user control contains a datagrid and some buttons and textboxes.
the button events fire correctly and execute their code. however, the
datagrid events fire a postback, and execute Page_load in the
usercontrol, but the Item_Command code is not executed. the code to...

OK.. phew. Playing with data grids for the past few days has been fun and a
huge learning experience..
My problem. I have a requirement to display a gird with a gird. Within the
embedded grid, theres a requirement to show a drop down menu list (this is a
control I downloaded online) in one of the columns. For the purposes of this
question, Ive implemented the drop down menu as a drop down list instead.
Ive got all this working at this...

Hello,
I have a standard asp:DataGrid called CasesGrid that I wish to write my
own paging controls for. The aim is to get something like the following
rendered to screen:
<< First < Previous 1 2 3 4 5 ... Next Last >>
I have achieved the first/previous/next/last buttons quite easily as
follows in the ASPX (1.1) page:

Hi,
I have a strange issue occurring with LinkButtons that are dynamically added
to each (data) row of my DataGrid on that grid's ItemDataBound event. Each
LinkButton is assigned its own event handler to deal with the Command event,
but for some reason I can get this to work in a C# project but not in a newly
created VB.NET one.
The relevant VB.NET is as follows:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
