creating a temporary file in clustered web farm

Does creating a temporary xml file from dataset on the
server on a per-user basis and read from it will create
any problem in clustered web farm?

Thanks in advance

yes...it will only save the file on one web server and the next request may
come in on another web server. if you are using out of process session
state, save the file as an XmlDocument in session, if sql server session
state, save the dataset in session.

Hi All :-) Can anyone give me a URL where I can find a good example of code on how to create a temporary SQL table using VB.net? I've checked the Microsoft site at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/createdb/cm_8_des_04_8jtx.asp which is okay at explaining the process but gives me absolutely no code examples. Unfortunately, I am one of those programmers that can read and

I am running a high traffic web site on ASP.NET 2.0. I'm getting this error every few days, usually when I deploy a control that is very active. The only way to fix this problem that I've found so far is to stop the web service, delete the ASP.NET temporary files under C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files and then restar tthe web service.

Hi, I was asked to create a web application which is going to be running on a web farm. Now my questions are 1. I was asked to use windows authentication for connecting to SQL database, will this work when i am running my application in a web farm? 2. What are the settings i should make to make my application work fine in a web farm environment? 3. I have planned to use a SQL persistant state for sessions, is this the best one or is...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
