Determine Web Page for Requests Executing

The performance object ASP.Net Application has a counter for Requests
Executing. How do I determine WHICH requests are executing for an
instance? Thanks.

As far as i know you need to create your own counter [1] to count how
many request single page instance is executing.

I've got the following problem. I'm a biologist and I have a device at work which monitors my frog habitat. The device has a bunch of sensors, and runs an embedded html server with some java functions defined which know how to read the hardware sensorts. I access it from wherever I am via any browser, and it displays the measurements (a set of simple numbers) as Java applets in a simple html page. One entry in this page (a table cell) looks...

I have a web form "Page1.asp" and it reads data from a database, does some calculations, and displays the records in pages. Works fine. I have a button that displays on the page, defined as <input type="button" onClick="OutputData()"> The OutputData() function is a javascript function that simply does this: window.location = "Page1.asp?Flag=1";

Our ASP.NET application receives around 90 anonymous hits/sec while Requests Executing usually stays around 15-25. This is good and our server performs well What our app does is load a remote XML URL with xmltextreader and xmldocument load then transcribes the XML through a stylesheet and displays it as a webpage. The Problem is sometimes the Requests Executing will shoot up to 125-150 and all of a sudden we'll get a server too busy...

For those encountering the 'Error executing child request for...' error, the following may bring some light on the problem. It is possible that the page you are transfering/executing to is re-invoking your handler and producing a recursive relationship. The following describes an example of the recursive relationship. ________________________________ //snippet from web.config <httpHandlers>

Hello all, Help me understanding this situtation. While debugging a scenario for error 403.9 on IIS/XP Pro, I added two counters to perfmon app.I saw at some point of time Session Active =0 , but requests executing was greater than zero. Summarizing it Session Active =0 Requests Executing =10 Requests in application Queue =0 All this time I had assumption that request that undergo execution lock

Due to the behaviour of a particular COM object, I need to ensure that a request for a particular ASP page is finalized before another request for the page is processed. Does IIS have a way to ensure that subsequent requests will be queued until the current request is completed? If not, can IIS be configured to use seperate processes to satisfy requests for a nominated ASP page? Thanks in advance.

Dear reader, We have two Win2003 webfarms each consisting of 5 servers. Which we call cluster1 and cluster2. Cluster2 is the bussiest of these two and periodicaly (varies from 2 times per day to two times per week) one of the servers (this is pretty random) starts to build up Requests Executing. During this 'queueing' it still serves about approx. 75% of the requests. The requests that don't come back with an answer are added to the...

I am struggling to find a python example of the scenario - I have. I have a python script, which generates a page with a search button (actually an input field). The data from the above submissions is interrogated and the same script produces a new search option and the a page of results from the previous search request. - as done by Google's Main search page. The user then has the option of a new search or navigating to a

I am executing an AJAX page method that is a long running task. After starting the first method, I execute a second page method to retrieve the status of the task. It works fine in an empty web application, but when I paste the code into my main application (~10 projects, maybe 100 files) the behavior changes. What happens is the second page method will not begin executing until the first one finishes. In other words, the page methods...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
