Weird Error: There is not enough space on the disk.

Hi,

I am getting really weird error, when I try to load one of
my ASP.NET website pages:

Server Error in '/' Application.
-----------------------------------------------------------
---------------------

There is not enough space on the disk.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during
compilation using the
CodeDomProvider 'Microsoft.CSha rp.CSharpCodePr ovider'.
Please review the stack trace for more information about
the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.IOExc eption: There is not
enough space on the disk.

There is more than 1.5GB free space on the disk, so this
is not the reason. The problem is that this page was
working fine just yesterday and I haven't change it at all.

Could somebody tell me what the problem is?
Thanks,
Peter

I'm using Win2K3 Enterprise edition with the latest .NET framework installed. I have this problem with getting "out of disk space" errors. It doesn't happen all the time but it does happen. Usually, I can just remove the application and readd it from the properties menu in the IIS...

Hi All, First, where can I get some questions of this sort answered? Preferably, are there good books or online guides that I can consult for these types of answers when necessary? 1. How do I know, when executing a query from Query Analyzer or otherwise, how many temporary tables will be needed, and how big they will be? 2. Where will those temporary tables be created? Always in tempdb?

Hi, I keep getting this error message for a trans.log backup. Operating system error 112(error not found). The disk has about 6GB space free, and the backup should only take up about 550 MB, so I would think it is not space related but... The disk is NTFS. Any ideas?

Hi folks, Could you shed some light on this issue? my program is running on Freebsd as a daemon. When user sends a request, it forks itself and lets its child process handles the request. And its main role is just to read a big xml file and save each object into its embedded DB(such as gdbm).

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
