Hi ,
you didnt mentioned the OS which you have installed in particular system you trying to connect , definitely it might be a server because of DB, so if its windows 2003 means , you had to enable the Remote Desktop option
I.To enable remote desktop:
----------------------------------------
1)press windows key+ pause break key
2)select the Remote tab
3)Check the 2 check boxes
Thus the remote desktop enabled

Ok now you enabled this option now to connect this PC go to ypus PC in other location before that tou need to note down and keep the IP address of the particular machine which u enabled the remote Desktop Connection

Using that IP and also the following method you can connect that particular machine ok now the method to connect that machine from urs:-
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start->program->accesories->communication->Remote desktop

follow this and invoke the window, in that window u need to type the ip of which you enabled the remote desktop connection .now you got it.

Also one more problem is you havent mentioned your pc OS also if that remot desktop connection option is not found in your PC means dont worry, Follow the following link download the think and install it,now the remote desktop connection option will be there in your PC

link is: - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/t...displayLang=en
