Learning ASP.Net

Hello All,

Looking for some direction on where to start.

I have been doing web design and development for about 10 years.

Have relied heavily on Front Page ~ it does the job~

Have used many ASP applications from hotscripts.com and
scriptsearch.com

Can tweak the ASP apps as need for customized look and operations.

Would like to LEARN writing code starting from line one.

While I can tweak existing code, I am clueless as to how to start an
application.

Would like your advice on how to learn ASP.NET from the scratch.
Recommend course work?

Books?

There was no way for you to know it, but this is a classic asp newsgroup.
While you may be lucky enough to find a dotnet-savvy person here who can
answer your question, you can eliminate the luck factor by posting your
question to a newsgroup where the dotnet-savvy people hang out. I suggest
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet.
