Client can't receive Email - error '8004020f'

2 New Member
I hope someone can help me solve this problem. I have a client who is hosting their website on an Exchange server running Windows Server 2003 OS. They are currently unable to receive email from clients through the "Contact Us" form and their client gets the following error message in the browser:

error '8004020f'
/WA_Universal_Em ail/CDOSYS_JS.asp, line 146

The Contact Us form email was working as of December 14, 2007. The client first informed us of the problem on Dec 18. No changes have been made to the coding of the website.

Does anyone know how this could have happened and what the probable fix is?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like a SMTP relaying permissions problem. Does your SMTP server
allow relaying to other domains of e-mails that originate from your IIS
server's IP?

-Thanks

hi, everyone. I'm writing a 2-players game that should support network mode. I'm now testing it on 1 PC since I don't have 2. I directly use sockets, and both client and server do computations, the only data transfered is user mouse/kbd input. It works synchronously, but somehow, when I play in client window, both client and server have 17 fps, while when playing in server window, server has 44 fps while client ...

hello I need to listen to two ports and process the received message. Which way to do is better? I have a short program like this but I am not sure whether it is good or not. Or I'd better open two threads and process the message seperately. Thanks a lot! #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h>

Hiya Everyone, I've just started the development of an email client using the .NET classes and C# ( I figured its a good way to get my hands dirty with ..NET). Anyhow, here's the situation... I created a simple 'Windows Forms' app (using Borland's wonderful free C# Builder IDE) that allows me to create a mail message and send it via my SMTP Server.

I have a .net client/server application using remoting, and I cannot get the custom exception class to pass from the server to the client. The custom exception is derived from ApplicationException and is defined in an assembly common to the client and server components. The custom class merely defines three (3) constructors -- the null constructor; one with a string parameter; and one with a string and innner exception parameter -- that...

Hi again! Well, the first part of my "mission" (calling remoting objects from a webservice) is solved. But there's another part: Calling this C#-Webservice from a java client. Is this a difficult task? Or is this quite easy, like just a few lines of source and using some of the packages from apache.org? Has anybody done this before and will like to tell me about his/her experiences?

Hi, everyone, I'm implementing a simple client/server protocol. Now I've got a situation: client will send server command, header paires and optionally body. server checks headers and decides whether to accept(read) the body. if server decided to throw(dump) the request's body, it'll send back a response message, such as "resource already exists" and close the connection.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
