I want to ask what are the possiblities to truncate data
from 1 million dollars to 1 dollar by using formatCurrency and
CCur functions?
The ASP page has code <%= formatCurrency(rs(14)) %>, the database
rs(14) is 100000000. But when it displays it in the screen,
it shows $1.00 with code <%= formatCurrency(rs(14)) %>
There is another place...

Using Postgres 7.4,
the function "test" gets this: psql:temp3.sql:10: ERROR: syntax error
at or near "%" at character 135
the function "test2" gets this: psql:temp3.sql:10: ERROR: syntax error
at or near "ROWTYPE" at character 141

format for display? Something like FormatCurrency() in VBscript had?
I usually search thecodeproject.com first, but something's wrong b/c I can't
get to the articles where there might be an answer.
Thanks in advance,

Character returns stored in a table do not display in a textbox or on a
datagrid on my .net form. The text displays without the returns making the
text difficult to read. When I "view source" on the page, I see the returns
and when I view the data in Enterprise Manager I can also see the returns.
I have the same problem when I am looking at...

I have a field that has been formatted using the vb.net FormatCurrency
method. Now, I need to get the amount back into a regular field so I
can use it for calculations. Is there an easy way to remove the
formatting characters ($,) ?
I suppose I could always use the replace function to remove the $ and
comma, but I wasn't sure if there was...

Hi,
I have a stored procedure (the code is below) that I use to retrieve
one value from my database. I tested the code in Query Analyzer, and it
works (I get the value I was looking for). However, when I call the
same code from the stored procedure, I get no value. The code that is
executed is the same and the input parameter is the same....

All,
I'm dealing with a 3rd party application that can't interpret the
Access function FormatCurrency.
When it encounters my query with "Exclu: FormatCurrency(,
0)", it arfs. The vendor says I have to use "straight SQL."
Can someone point me to a good SQL reference where I can find the SQL
eqiuvalent, assuming there is one?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
