Hi,
I have a deployment question for a migration from ASP to ASP.NET.
the application is an e-commerce web-site that have loadbalancing of 4 web
servers running (today) windows2000 with IIS5 and will run windows2003
server in the future.
3 developers working on the web app, and today when needs to change
something copying the relevant asp page from dev env to production.

i'm used to scripting in php. there, you just include(bla.php) and it
works. so i have a template that defines my layout and stays the same
forever, but in that file, there's a table that's filled in with other
pages, header.php, footer.php, menubar.php,
i was trying to do the same with .net, but every page i try to include has
his own page directive (well, i need the code behind... so i can't just
delete those page...

I have 2 aspx pages that are virtually identical, except for a few security
differences.
I have 2 folders, my non-secure folder and my secure folder.
There is one page in each. The one in the security folder checks to see if

I am strugling with a simple problem which I can't seem to resolve.
I have an asp.net page which contains a server-control (flytreeview,

The tree is being updated by some other process through remoting.

Web Controls etc. is very poorly designed and makes it extremely hard
to develop professional quality web applications.
ASPX is Microsoft's attempt to "dumb down" web application development
to help unskilled developers such as web design agencies achieve some
results.
For high quality applications IHttpHandlers are the way to go.

namespace used in this class file is 'MyPro' & the public class is

Hi,
I have an aspx page that has the "include" code in it which includes another
page that displays information. I also have an upload page that allows users
to upload a simple html document onto the server. The include code calls that
html page to display the text on that page. The problem is when the user
uploads that html page, the aspx page does not refresh to reflect those
changes, even if the user hits refresh in their browse....

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
