Interdev is just the application that you run on your desktop. It's not

You never installed SP3 or greater on a NT machine?

You also never installed the option pack for Windows NT?

SP 3 at least gives you version 3.0 & the option pack brings you up to 4.

I was trying to load an old project and .NET 2003 complained about this .vip file. According to Windows Explorer, it's a Visual InterDev project. For the life of me, I can't remember/figure out what an InterDev project is or was. My new .NET projects don't have this file. So, 2 questions: What is it? And how do I get around it, so I can load this project? Thanks in advance...

I have an existing web app on a remote server that I want to manage as a web project on my local box with Visual InterDev. But when I create a new project in VID and connect to the web server, I cannot connect to the existing web app. At the "Specify your web" dialog box I choose "connect to existing web on server" but the only option that shows up is <root web>. I cannot overwrite this option with the name of the web I want to...

Hi all, I have Visual Studio 6.0 (Interdev only) installed on Windows XP Professional (IIS 5.1 platform). I have also installed Visual Studio 2005. I want to debug ASP applications on IIS. Because debugging under non-administrative account doesn't work, I assigned my domain account into Administrators local group. I installed Inderdev Server and Remote machine debugging from Visual Studio 6 CD#2. I set appropriate user rights to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
