What? Could you clarify what/how you are trying to do this?
And better yet....why?

No, ASP and ASPX files are handled by two different engine. You can however
redirect from one to another depending what you are tying to do...

I'm reading an XML file on our web server using a DataSet. I then bind it to a DataGrid. What's the proper method of releasing the lock on the file? DataSet ds = new DataSet(); ds.ReadXML(fileName); dg.DataSource = ds; dg.DataBind(); Thanks in advance. Mark

Hi there I am having trouble deleting an uploaded file that I have just written to disc. I am using the SaveAs method of a HttpPostedFile to write the file to disc, then straight after I'm trying to use kill(FILE) to delete it. I get the error "The process cannot access the file "FILE.JPG" because it is being used by another process." If I use the Explorer-program to try and delete the file afterwards I get the error "Cannot delete...

For some reason my service works fine except that it will create the file in my c drive, but will not write to the file. Sorry if this is a duplicate post, i have found some that ask the same question - but noone seems to answer. Do i need to do anything specific to write to a text file from a windows service, much appreciated.

HI - Sorry for maybe a too simple a question but I googled and also checked my reference O'Reilly Learning Python book and I did not find a satisfactory answer. When I use readlines, what happens if the number of lines is huge? I have a very big file (4GB) I want to read in, but I'm sure there must be some limitation to readlines and I'd like to know how it is handled by python. I am using it like this:

When using SmtpClient and sending a message with an attached file using SendAsync(...), if I add File.Delete(pathToAttachedFile) in the SendCompleted event handler I get a file in use exception. Is there a way to overcome this problem? Thanks, Nick Z.

I searched using Google, on the web and in the newsgroups, and found nothing on this topic. Hopefully that means I just don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing here. :) The problem: I am trying to use the SaveFileDialog class to get a filename, which is subsequently opened for writing (write access, read sharing, but using read/write sharing doesn't make the problem go away anyway). Sometimes, on the statement where I...

I have a minor problem locating an image file to load as a Bitmap. A resource file "NudeSusan.jpeg" (which I think is actually a bmp file, originally taken from a jpeg of model Susan Spears) is loaded onto the "Resources" tree of the Visual Studio Solutions Explorer, and correctly works. However, another file, "MyImageFile.png" (which is also a bmp file, sorry for the confusion, but originally was a png file), does not work. How can...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
