Any ideas anyone, using IIS 5.1 .ASP web pages do not
work I get error 500, but .ASPX web pages work fine?
I made a website using MS FrontPage 2000, then I added
some .ASPX pages to the site that were made with visual
studio .NET 2003, which all was fine then I wanted to add
a page using MS FrontPage 2000 again a simple form that
send form results to an access data base simple enough
jest that any web pages that use the .ASP file extecion
don't work, even the web pages form IIS help don't work
http://localhost/iisstart.asp = error 500, hummmm .ASPX
web pages work fine.

I want to send a biztalk document to an aspx page, and I need to see some sample code, because I just can't make it work. I have a port with transport type HTTP, pointing to my aspx page, something like http://myserver/mypage.aspx. From there it gets blurry, because I just can't figure out how to do the rest. Does anybody have a sample page for me that I can take a look at? Just a simple one that takes whatever biztalk sends and saves it...

Hi, I am thinking about creating a web site based on ASP.NET but I first I would like a couple of answers to my questions. Can .aspx pages be viewed on linux browsers? If so, why does some msn.com web pages say you need IE5.5+? Furthermore, if asp.net is as good as people say, why isn't hotmail.com using it?

Would the code-behind and all ASP.NET functionality still work if the ..aspx files had instead .htm extensions? I suppose it boils down to whether the page directives would still work. Thanks for your help.

I have a system that was originally developed in asp - the pages are saved in SQL (there are over 10,000 pages) and saved to a temp directory in the server when requested by a client. I have updated this system and changed the pages that are saved to the server as aspx - everything works fine and pages can be served - but Its not impossible for a single client to request 100 plus pages in one session - as each page is requested it is...

Hi In asp.net 2.0 an aspx files .cs file is a partial class and all works fine, however, I thought I’d be able to create another class file, call it a partial class and have that compile and load as a 3rd partial class. This would be handy so i can generate standard code into one of the partial classes, while having my custom code untouched

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
