ASP caught this Error Soap Fault: The [RequestBuffer] parameter is not specified

We have an ASP program we are testing. So far only 1
machine gets this error. Any suggestions where to look,
in order to debug this error?

Thanks in advance for your help!

With just a custom error message, and absolutely no code, it's going to be
extremely difficult for anyone else to troubleshoot this for you.

But if we have no idea what the code does, or what line of code causes that
error (which is not a standard windows or ASP error, but rather one from the
application), we still have absolutely no way to help you.

works fine on all machines, except 1 - I would think it
would be an issue with that machine, not the code

(inside network, outside network, dial-up, dsl, different
users - it all works, so .... without posting 1MB of asp
pages I was hoping for some clues - I can think of two
things that may be different on that machine)

1) ie settings (ie 6 SP1, W2K Pro SP 3)
2) windows update (was down this morning when we went to
install sp's)
Anyone - any ideas?

Hi there, I am using a LOTUS/DOMINO Web Service in my ASP.Net application and I am having quite a lot of problems. I have managed to solve most of them but this one it really is giving me terrible headaches. Web Service send's me back an XML that I have managed to read with an enormous quantity of problems (it sends me back an XML file with double XML declaration, not the real XML format). In case of server errors, DOMINO sends me back an...

I have a Asp.net web application and a Asp.net Web service application. The Web application is using HtmlInputFile to get a 50M size of file selected by end user, read the data of this file and pass the data to the web service. I already modified both web.config files and changed maxRequestLength to 60000(kb). When I debug the upload process, it seems the Web application can get the 50M file and read the data without problem, but when the...

Hi, I have created a Java webservice which runs in IBM WebSphere appserver. I take the WSDL-file and create a VS.NET WinForm application and calls the service running on my PC and everything works fine. So I deploy the webservice on a remote machine (Linux box) and I get an error when calling the service. BUT: I can retrieve the WSDL and make a webreference in my VS.NET project, so obviously I (or more correct: My VS.NET project) am...

Does .Net generate the classes for Faults when they are specified in the WSDL. I tried defining them and then generating a proxy, and it did not appear to do it. On the Java side it did generate the class and the ability to serialize that class when putting it on the wire. I was hoping a .Net client would create the appropriate exception class defined in the WSDL and deserialize the message into the appropriate exception class.

Hi, I am trying to call a webservice from a windows service application. It works only if I launch the windows service app from VS.Net 2005 (Worked around from Main()) or from a winform test application. However, it generates a kind of security error after I install and start the service in my Window Server machine. I believe that it is related to authentication. The following is the sample code: HttpWebRequest obj =...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
