How to read data from SQL db and write to a OWC component

I want to create a Excel OWC component and read data from the Orders
table of the Northwind database and write into the OWC component.
Can you kindly share the code.
Thanks

Please try Google before posting to the newsgroups. You will save yourself a
lot of time. A few seconds after I entered the words ASP, Excel and OWC into
the search engine, I received these results:

http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-...=ASP+Excel+OWC

That is much more efficient than posting a message to a newsgroup and
waiting several hours for it to be answered, isn't it?

Now if you have any specific questions about any of the methods used in
these articles please feel free to post those questions.

I have a SelectBoxes.asp page that is working with multiple selection dropdown boxes to extract data and total the selection prices. Tom & Bob were kind enough to give me a big help getting this page working and it's working just fine, no problems with this page. However I then would like this data e-mailed using jmail (my host insists on this method) and that is the function of the sendEMail2.asp page. This is failing and only giving...

Hi all; I just made an interesting discovery. Not sure if it is a good thing or not, and using it certainly breakes first normal form.... Not even sure if it really works. However, as I am able to CRASH the backend, there is a bug here somewhere... test=# select version(); version

Working on converting an Access front-end/SQL Server back-end to a .NET front/SQL Server back-end. We are also redesiging the SQL Server database. We have many Word/Excel documents that have been stored as OLE Objects in the old SQL Server database. We can move them over to the new database okay. We can "read" the files okay when accessing them via Access (design mode/open table or runtime via double-clicking on an object frame...

I have an object that has a fairly complex construction sequence, so I have written a dedicated "factory" class that invokes the constructor of my object class (which does nothing but instantiate the object and set default blank/null values), and then does all the Db access and number crunching to populate the new object. The factory returns the fully populated object to the caller. All the fields in the object are private, but have...

I haven't started using Seqouia/C-jdbc but I am probing the ability to do something like this: Controller CW has 2 controllers under it - C1 & C2. C1 is local and has a host HA with X.db's tables t1 & t2. C2 is remote and has a host HB also with X.db's tables t1 & t2. Controller CR has 2 controllers under it - C3 & C4. C3 is local and has a host HC with X.db's tables t1 & t2. C4 is remote and has a host HD also with X.db's tables t1 &...

I'm moving to .Net framework 2.0 from Visual Studio 2002/3 with more time on desktop apps than ASP.Net, although I have done a small amount in ASP.Net. Is best practice for ASP.Net now to use the components for data access, or to build your own connection and command objects in code? I find working with the designer to be awkward and hard to follow the details, and would like to know if I really should get used to doing things with...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
