ASP Running on a handheld device

Is it possible to run ASP on a handheld device? There's information on
my website that I would like available on a portable device without
connecting to the internet. Basically, I'm looking to run a ASP site
locally on the device.

not without IIS or some other such web server service.

ASP isn't designed to be portable, it's supposed to be server based. You may
need to rethink what you are trying to accomplish.

This may be a solution depending on what kind of handheld device you have.

In a discussion between AJ Flavel and Spartanicus, The later said. "Layouts that work well on the desktop and on small screen devices are single column layouts. Layouts that use more than one column rarely work properly on a wide range of viewport widths. This also applies to "css" layouts that use separate "screen" and "handheld" stylesheets due to the poor support for the handheld media type and it's intrinsic limitations. The same...

Hi, I hadn't seen any announcements regarding this, but there's a little device recently released called a GP2X which is a small dual CPU (2x200Mhz) device which runs Linux. Anyway, I thought there might be someone in here interested to hear that python AND pygame have both been ported to it already (not by me). I've also ported some of our code to it (the bouncing cats demo

English Wikipedia allows registered users to define custom styles. I created a set of styles inside a @media handheld wrapper to see if I could override the default absolute positionings and floats of the major page elements in IE on my Sony Treo with Windows Mobile 5. Without the custom CSS, on both the regular computer and the handheld, the content's beginning is offset from the top and left, and on the handheld it only takes up a...

Can somebody tell me how to test it and how to run the small "hello world" programm? Do I need to install some special environment on the handheld or just to run the file. The device runs Windows CE 5.0 system. Thank you for the help in advance....

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
