Trusted Locations on Network

124 100+
Does anyone know how to get around the problem of "The path you entered cannot be used as a trusted location for security purposes. Choose another location or a specific folder?" I have the "Allow trusted locations on network" check box checked, but it does not make any difference. This has only started happening since I moved to a new domain. Does anyone know of a registry key to change or another workaround? I am running Office 2007. Thanks in advance.

BTW,

This is a network setting set by your administrators. It is probably a managed property, but you may be able to get special permissions.

Do you know which setting it is, so I can tell my SysAdmin? Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately I don't. We have the same situation here, but we can't even turn on the Trusted Locations option. It's an Office setting, though.

I don't think you can do that if we will base your access level.
