How to print out files using VBA

1 New Member
I have an access database. It has a query with one field as Unique ID "Passport Number" and another field containing the path to the scanned passport copies (which I have in a folder). The scanned copies are named with the passport numbers. I want to make a form with a command button that will print the respective scan photo.

It's not very clear what you need help with. Do you know how to make a form with a command button? Is it dealing with images you have trouble with? Where's the part you need help with?

When you clarify your need, please add details about what version of MS Access you are using.

You could write a report to print the photo. There's a very easy to use wizard for creating reports. The button could just launch the report, either stopping to ask for which printer to use or directing the output to a printer specified in the report.

Or you could use Access to launch another application with a command line switch to do the printing.

You also need to tell us what:
OS
Version of Access/Office
Format scans are in (PDF, TIFF, JPG, RAW, etc...)
